City of Missouri City

OBR provided owner’s representative services on the City of Missouri City’s surface water treatment plant.  The state-of-the-art facility includes storage reservoirs for 100M gallons of water taken from the Brazos River.  A raw water pump station sends the water to flocculation and plate settler basins.  From there, the water is screened a final time before it passes through banks of membrane filters from where it’s treated and stored on site.  High service pumps then send the water to various system pump stations based on demand.  OBR was on site for the initial 10MGD plant construction and for the plant’s expansion to 20MGD.  OBR also provided oversight of various transmission line projects to serve system customers.
